Newad adds three student publications to inventory

Montreal-based Newad, in association with Free Media, has signed online advertising representation agreements with three campus newspapers: The Weal of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary, The Sheridan Sun of Sheridan College in Toronto and The McGill Tribune of McGill University in Montreal. Newad will sell online advertising in websites of the three publications to national advertisers as part of its inventory of student media outlets.
"This announcement allows us to consolidate our platforms exclusively dedicated to students," said Martine Desjardins, executive vice-president of publishing and content at Newad. "Many advertisers simultaneously use our online and indoor networks to reach students. What we want to provide is the guarantee that each advertising dollar invested to reach students will be effective to an unmatched degree."
