Outward Bound Canada hires Grip

Charitable organization Outward Bound Canada has retained Grip of Toronto to promote its wilderness-based personal development programs. The agency will develop communications intended to reconnect the organization with past participants and donors in advance of its upcoming 50th anniversary in Canada. Grip will begin by working to increase the profile of Outward Bound through social media and digital activities. Communications will also touch on the organization's recently-created urban initiatives in Toronto and Vancouver. "It has always been challenging to truly capture the impact and essence of an Outward Bound program as it is both highly personal and contextual," said Sarah Wiley, executive director of Outward Bound Canada. "Therefore, we're thrilled to be able to work with an agency like Grip that not only has experienced our programs first hand but also has the expertise and vision to help communicate Outward Bound Canada's unique value proposition."
