The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation has retained Dare of Vancouver as its new advertising agency. The assignment includes strategy, planning, creative and social media activities for the foundation and its annual CIBC Run for the Cure fundraiser. Dare won the account in a competitive pitch process involving an unknown number of firms. "Not only did Dare demonstrate passion and commitment to the cause, they also showcased unique strategic thinking," said Diane Gordon, vice-president of national development at the foundation. "They considered the journey of our audiences, and looked at opportunities to connect at every key level. We look forward to working together with them surrounding our 2013 event, driving participation, emotional connections and of course fundraising towards our vision, creating a future without breast cancer."
