Sponsorship roundup

Sears Travel has signed a two-year sponsorship agreement with the Canadian Football League. Under the terms of the agreement, the company will be the official travel provider of the league and the 99th Grey Cup championship game. Promotion of the sponsorship will include appearances by Michael "Pinball" Clemons, as well as contests, additional player appearances, in-stadium brand exposure and a contest. The winner of the contest will receive a trip for two to the Grey Cup game in Vancouver on Nov. 27. "The CFL prides itself on being a family-oriented league that brings Canadians together from coast-to-coast," said CFL commissioner Mark Cohon. "Partnering with Sears Travel, a company who shares these similar brand attributes, is a natural fit that we hope will also help bring our fans together throughout the remainder of the season, playoffs and the 99th Grey Cup in Vancouver."
