CTV has launched a new service called CTV Mobile that will allow users to view live television programs on their mobile devices. According to the company, the service makes CTV the first conventional broadcaster in Canada to offer a "simulstreamed" television lineup for these devices. Bell Mobility and Virgin Mobile have signed-on as first carriers to offer the service. CTV Mobile will offer approximately 150 hours of programming each week drawn from CTV and CTV Two, including various prime time dramas, talk shows and news programs. "Now viewers can watch amazing live CTV content no matter where they are," said Bart Yabsley, executive vice-president of content sales and distribution at Bell Media. "With CTV Mobile, viewers get Canada's most-watched television programming on every screen, whenever and wherever they want to watch."
