Website roundup

News Marketing Canada of Toronto is readying a Canadian version of the SmartSource online coupon website at SmartSource.ca. A French-language version is also being readied at UtiliSource.ca. The sites will offer coupons that consumers can print at home and use at participating retailers. Consumers can also request samples of various products. The sites will launch on Sept. 26, promoted by a consumer awareness campaign including floor and cart advertisements in participating grocery and drug stores. "There's no question that the time is right to bring a new online couponing site to Canada," said News Marketing Canada senior vice-president Adam North. "The collective experience of our US team will allow us to offer the Canadian market a fresh, robust alternative to what is currently available."
