KFC Canada readies Double Down campaign

Fast food chain KFC Canada will break a new national television campaign promoting its Double Down sandwich on June 6. The campaign will air in French and English for "several weeks," according to the company. The creative depicts a crowd of people outside a KFC restaurant enthusiastically marking the return of the sandwich. The ad closes with the copy, "It's Back Canada." The commercial was adapted from creative by Ogilvy Australia by Grip. Media buying was conducted by Zenith-Optimedia, while in-store materials were created by OSL Marketing and AMI. OSL also handled digital marketing.
