Mars Agency adds two

Toronto-based shopper marketing firm The Mars Agency has appointed Derek Joynt to the position of senior vice-president and general manager. He was most recently a partner and vice-president at Influence Marketing. Prior to that, he was director of marketing at Walmart. He has also held marketing positions at Cadbury Schweppes and Pepsi-QTG Canada.
Jan Ferguson has been hired as vice-president of client leadership. She was most recently a group account director at Influence Marketing. Prior to that, she was vice-president of client services at Fish out of Water Design and director of client services at Launch. She has also worked at MJF Marketing Services, BStreet Communications and OSL Marketing.
