Family Channel begins Bright Lights Big Summer Tour

Astral will begin a promotion for its Family Channel service this weekend called the "Bright Lights Big Summer Tour." The tour will stop at 15 festivals, events and attractions in Ontario, BC and Alberta, ending in September. The traveling installation will include a photo booth that can be used to insert participants into scenes from various Family Channel programs. The pictures can later be downloaded from the website. "This summer we will provide fans of the Family Channel the opportunity to create memories with some of their favourite stars seen on the channel," said Paul Cormack, the channel's director of consumer marketing. "Leveraging some of the more recognizable characters to draw kids to the booth, families will have the opportunity to become engaged and get to know some of our newer characters and programming in a fun and individual way." The initiative was developed by TrojanOne Integrated Brand Activation.
