Shearer's Foods Canada prepares Riceworks campaign

Shearer's Foods Canada is readying a marketing campaign for its Riceworks Brown Rice Crisps snack food. The campaign, developed by Fuse Marketing Group of Toronto, uses the tagline, "Your snack works -- Riceworks better." The initiative will begin on July 1 and run for eight weeks. During that time, promotional workers in a branded vehicle will conduct a sampling program at six sponsored events and in 16 Ontario markets. "During the summer season, consumers are busy enjoying the outdoors at events and capitalizing on this with an experiential summer tour is a great way to catch snackers in the act and offer samples of a better snack alternative," said Tricia Ryan, director of marketing for Riceworks.
