CHUM Radio to buy The New Flow 93.5

CHUM Radio has reached an agreement with Milestone Radio to purchase Toronto radio station The New Flow 93.5 FM. The sale is subject to CRTC approval. No financial details are available. "Flow has done a great job carving out a niche in the Canadian radio landscape providing unique opportunities to artists, listeners and advertisers," said Chris Gordon, president of CHUM Radio. "We value the contributions Flow has made to promote and develop new Canadian artists, and we look forward to working with their team to grow the station and continue to service the community in Toronto." Flow 93.5 launched in 2001, broadcasting a mix of hip-hop, R&B, reggae and soca music. CHUM Radio is a division of CTVglobemedia.
