Battery maker Energizer Canada has signed a sponsorship agreement making it the official battery of the National Hockey League and the NHL Players' Association in Canada. The brand will receive exposure on television, on the NHL.com website, in arenas and through national consumer promotions and event marketing. "Combining the strength of the NHL Shield with the consumer recognition of the Energizer Bunny and 'Keep Going' campaigns creates a unique consumer marketing power play," said Laurel Walzak, director of business development at the NHL "We look forward to the many opportunities created by aligning all of these strong brands."
