Schick Canada begins amateur athlete promotion

Schick Canada has begun a promotion in support of its Xtreme3 Sport line of razors. The initiative invites Canadian amateur athletes to submit essays on the ways they seek to excel at their chosen sports. Entries can be submitted at <http://www.schickxtremeteam.ca> until Sept. 30. Two winners will receive $10,000 training funds. The funds will come from part of the purchase price of special edition packages of the razors. "Xtreme3 recognizes that most high-performance athletes need financial support to achieve excellence in their sport," said Alison Jacobs, brand manager at Schick Canada. "The Xtreme3 brand is all about adventure, performance and living an active lifestyle. We encourage all Canadian amateur athletes to race over to enter to be a part of the Xtreme Team for a chance to get a leg up on the competition and win the $10,000 prize." Schick is a division of Energizer Canada.
