New board at Canadian Public Relations Society

The Canadian Public Relations Society of Toronto has appointed Richard Truscott to the position of national president. Truscott is the director of provincial affairs at the Calgary-based Canadian Federation of Independent Business. Sean Kelly, manager of public relations at the Canada-Newfoundland & Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board, has been elected vice-president and treasurer. Lucie-Anne Fabien of Ville de Montréal has become vice-president and corporate secretary. New members of the society's board of directors include Joanne Fortin and Jane Petricic. Returning board members include Robert Ellis, Mark Giles, Reneé McCloskey, Angela Murray, Rashpal Rai and Sandra Thornton.
