Energizer conducts Schick Sets You Free contest

Energizer Canada has begun a nine-month marketing campaign for its Schick, Skintimate and Edge product lines. The campaign, called "Schick Sets You Free," represents the first time the company has combined its women's and men's shaving brands in a national campaign. The initiative includes three contests called "Fly Free," "Shop Free" and "Drive Free." The winners will respectively receive $25,000 worth of air travel, or a $15,000 pre-paid Visa gift card, or $15,000 to pay for gas, car insurance and depreciation. Consumers can enter by submitting an identification number found on the packaging of participating products at <http://www.wesetyoufree.ca>. Various instant prizes will also be awarded. The website also displays poll results related to each of the contests, social media elements and product information.

"By bringing together the Schick, Skintimate and Edge brands into one integrated, national campaign, we have the power to offer amazing experiences to our consumers," said Jill MacKinnon, brand manager at Energizer Personal Care. "The campaign is inspired by Schick's tagline, 'Free Your Skin,' and celebrates key activities that resonate with our consumers, travel, shopping and driving."

The contest and supporting in-store materials were developed by 6 Degrees. The contest website and digital advertising were developed by Real Interactive. Social media activities and public relations are being conducted by Paradigm Public Relations.
