Plan International retains Doug&Partners

Charitable organization Plan International Canada has hired Doug&Partners of Toronto to conduct a digital campaign called “2020 Gifts of Hope.” The assignment includes campaign strategy, creative development and digital production. Additional elements of the campaign will be handled by The Aber Group and Paradigm Public Relations. The holiday season promotion, now in its 14th year, encourages consumers to purchase a gift that will be of value to a family in need internationally. Approximately 50 gift options are available, the most popular of which is a goat. The campaign will launch in November.

“With over 50 gifts to choose from in different price ranges, and a wide range of options, ‘Gifts of Hope’ is the perfect holiday gift giving program,” said Naomi Midanik, director of one-time gifts at Plan International Canada. “The COVID-19 pandemic has increased our focus on digital channels, and we needed a partner who could develop a strong creative platform and innovate to drive digital response this holiday season. We’re thrilled to have found that partner in D&P.”
