Plan International, 9 Story begin joint promotion

Plan International Canada, a member of a global organization that advocates for children’s rights and equality for girls, is participating in an international promotion in collaboration with 9 Story Media Group, a content creator, producer and distributor of children’s entertainment. The agreement began in Canada this holiday season with 9 Story Media Group donating $25,000 to Plan International Canada’s “Gifts of Hope” initiative. The program is designed to provide girls with “nourishment, education and protection as they harness their unique power to shape their own future.”

Next year, Plan International will collaborate with 9 Story Media Group’s show Karma’s World, which debuted in 190 countries on Netflix in October. The show follows a 10-year-old girl who dreams of becoming a world-changing musician. The lead character will become a spokescharacter for Plan.

“Joining forces with 9 Story Media Group, who shares our vision of equality for girls so they can reach their full potential, is a powerful way for us to create meaningful, positive change,” said Lindsay Glassco, president and CEO of Plan International Canada. “We’re thrilled to be launching this partnership in a meaningful way, starting with a ‘Gift of Hope’ and expanding the relationship with a series of impactful initiatives in 2022.”
