Toronto airport authority begins dinosaur naming contest

The Greater Toronto Airports Authority has begun a contest to choose names for two dinosaur skeletons now on display in Terminal One of Pearson International Airport. The installation, called "A Scene from the Late Jurassic," depicts an Allosaurus chasing an Othnielia. The dinosaurs were provided by the Royal Ontario Museum. The contest is being conducted online at <http://www.gtaa.com/artprogram>. A name for each dinosaur will be selected by a judging panel from the airport authority and the museum. The winner will receive a one-year family membership to the museum, plus a collection of museum and airport merchandise. Also, the names will be added to the display. The contest will run until Oct. 31. The dinosaurs will remain at the airport until 2012.
