Rogers Media buys PoolExpert

Toronto-based Rogers Media has acquired sports pool software company PoolExpert. No financial details are available. Company founder Patrice Boissonneault will continue to oversee the software at Rogers Media in the newly-created position of lead programmer for Rogers Digital Media. "Canadians will soon have access to the latest and most innovative commission-style fantasy sports pools when they visit sites such as Sportsnet.ca and Fan590.com," said Boissonneault. Rogers Media is a division of Rogers Communications.
