Evolve Media expands in Quebec

Online publishing company Evolve Media has signed advertising representation agreements with a number of French-language Canadian websites. These include Cinoche.com, Allocine.com, PurePeople.com, Showbizz.net, 750g.com, JeuxVideo.com, SohoSport and PoolExpert. These sites collectively attract approximately 1.5 million unique visitors per month.
In related news, the company has hired Patrick Landry as an account executive for its Gorilla Nation division. He will lead sales activities for the French Canadian market and will be based in Montreal. Patrick Landry has spent the last seven years at Say Media, where he was responsible for sales in eastern Canada. Prior to that, he was at DistrictM.
