UM, Amobee begin pandemic information initiative

Media agency UM has begun an international initiative in association with marketing technology company Amobee intended to help prevent the spread of misinformation during the COVID-19 pandemic. The effort will encourage media companies to donate excess advertising inventory to be used to distribute public health information. In Canada, participating media companies include Bell Media, Corus Entertainment, District M, Evolve Media and Postmedia.
