New chief marketing officer at OpenText

OpenText, a software company specializing in information management and based in Waterloo, ON, has appointed Lou Blatt to the position of senior vice-president and chief marketing officer. He was most recently senior vice-president of offer management at Genesys. Prior to that, Blatt was senior vice-president of business line management at Pegasystems and chief product officer at ACI Worldwide. He has also worked at CA, Peregrine, Arthur Andersen, LogicaCMG and Wang.
