Globe and Mail promotes Caribbean Odyssey

The Globe and Mail has begun a campaign to promote a branded cruise called "The Globe and Mail Caribbean Odyssey." The 10-day trip will visit a number of Caribbean locations and offer a variety of Globe-themed activities, including wine tastings, cooking classes and shopping trips. The cruise will be hosted by publisher Phillip Crawley and editor-in-chief Edward Greenspon, along with several other members of the newspaper's editorial staff. "This cruise brings The Globe and Mail to life in a 10-day experience," said Crawley. "The embodiment of inspiring, stimulating, and life-changing reading. We wanted to offer our readers a magnificent, unparalleled voyage, inspired by what Globe Life and The Globe and Mail brand stand for: commitment to original thinking and quality content."The cruise is being promoted with experiential marketing by Free For All Marketing as well as print and online advertising from Naked Creative. Media buying is being conducted by Gaggi Media, while public relations are being handles by Environics Communications.
