MySpace makes deal with Rogers Wireless

Social networking website MySpace.com has formed a partnership with Rogers Wireless to make the cell phone company the exclusive Canadian provider of MySpace Mobile. This service allows users of the site to edit their MySpace pages from a mobile phone. "It's our goal to offer our users the ability to connect to their MySpace friends in any country at anytime," said Travis Katz, general manager of MySpace International. "We're seeing incredible uptake worldwide for MySpace Mobile initiatives and we're excited to bring this functionality to our MySpace Canada community." MySpace launched a localized Canadian version of its site in May. MySpace is owned by Fox Interactive Media of Los Angeles.
