By Adnews Staff
MySpace Canada has formed an association with Corus Entertainment and StreamTheWorld to develop on online radio streaming service called MySpace Radio. The service, which is located at <http://www.myspace.com/radio>, offers live audio streams from approximately 50 Canadian radio stations operated by Corus. The audio player also incorporates social networking features that allow MySpace users to add radio stations to their profiles. "MySpace is the world's largest music community," said Susan McGill, executive director of sales, marketing and business development at MySpace Canada. "We know that the avenues of music discovery and distribution are constantly changing. By combining the power of Corus' reach and radio content with StreamTheWorld's live streaming solution, MySpace Radio is able to deliver a unique channel for users to connect with the music they love." MySpace plans to add additional radio content from other sources in the near future.
