The Bay conducts designer challenge in Toronto

Retail chain The Bay has begun a promotion called the "Get It Together Designer Challenge." During the month of August, the street level windows of the chain's downtown Toronto location will display a kitchen, a bedroom, a living room and a study decorated by four local design students, each using $1,500 of merchandise from the store. Passers-by can vote for a favourite design at <http://www.thebay.com>. The winning designer will win $1,500 in store merchandise. "What's more fun than setting four talented young designers loose in our Queen Street store and seeing where their imaginations take them," said Patrick Dickinson, general manager of marketing for HBC. "Not only does it showcase some amazing design talent, but the wonderful home decor and furniture products available at The Bay."
