Pacific Blue Cross hires DDB Canada

Vancouver-based Pacific Blue Cross has appointed DDB Canada of Vancouver its advertising agency of record. The agency will handle all advertising for the health and dental benefits provider in British Columbia. The firm is now working on a brand awareness campaign that will include television, direct marketing, print, radio and online elements. “The DDB Vancouver team stood out as the ideal partner,” said Mark Gronsdahl, director of marketing and sales at Pacific Blue Cross. “Their depth of experience in our market, coupled with their strong record of carrying big ideas through a wide range of campaigns will help take our brand to the next level and strengthen our leadership position in the BC market.” DDB Vancouver won the account in a competitive review process. The incumbent agency was Vancouver-based Wasserman & Partners Advertising.
