Sponsorship roundup

As part of its sponsorship of the Rogers Centre in Toronto, TD Canada Trust has resumed an in-stadium promotion called the TD Canada Trust Comfort Zone for a second year. The zone consists of four green chairs, as seen in the bank’s advertising, placed on the field along the first base line during Blue Jays games. The chairs will be occupied by Canadian charitable organizations, Blue Jays alumni, celebrities and winners of in-stadium contests. Rogers SportsNet viewers can also enter an online contest at BlueJays.com to win a trip to Toronto watch a game from the Comfort Zone. “This sponsorship is a great opportunity for TD Canada Trust to reward Blue Jays fans with a unique baseball experience,” said Serge Lapointe, vice-president of brand communications at TD Canada Trust. “In the same way that TD Canada Trust makes banking comfortable for Canadians, the TD Canada Trust Comfort Zone takes this concept one step further allowing fans to watch a live major league baseball game as if they were in the comfort of their own home.”
