TD conducts Thank You campaign

TD Canada Trust has begun an online promotion called "TD Thanks You," intended to highlight the ties between the bank and important moments in the lives of its customers. The effort consists of an online video and photo gallery. The video depicts a series of the bank's customers arriving at their branch to find it has been decorated with old photographs from their lives and recorded messages from their family members. The photo gallery, located at the company's Flickr page, features historical images of bank branches and advertisements from 1890 to today.
The promotion also includes retro decorations in participating branches and "thank you" messages delivered to customers in branches, on the phone, on-line, through its bank machines, in advertising and through social media.
"Every July we celebrate customer appreciation, and this year we're marking memorable life moments that are important to our customers during our second '#TDThanksYou' campaign," said Tim Hockey, president and CEO of TD Canada Trust. "Whether it's opening your first account, buying your first home, starting a new business, or planning for your retirement, banking is about milestones and we want to thank our customers for letting us be a part of these powerful life moments over the years."
