Vancity hires Wasserman & Partners

Vancouver City Savings Credit Union has appointed Vancouver-based Wasserman & Partners Advertising as its agency of record. The firm won the account after a three-month review process involving an unknown number of firms. "We were thoroughly impressed with Wasserman's quick grasp of our brand and values, proven track record in the BC market, and DNA fit with Vancity," said Richard Seres, marketing vice-president of Vancity. "Ultimately the selection team agreed unanimously that Wasserman was the most appropriate organization to help us achieve our goals." TBWA Vancouver has held this account for the past six years. Vancity operated 59 branches in Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, Victoria and Squamish.
