Toronto-based TSN has launched a broadband sports channel at TSN.ca. The service, called TSN Broadband, offers video clips and full-length programs from the specialty channel, along with advertising. The service will also carry live coverage of various broadcasts, beginning with the 2007 IIHF World Junior Championship hockey tournament. “TSN Broadband is the only place in Canada viewers can see live streaming of entire games from top sporting events,” said TSN president Phil King. “There's nothing else like this in the Canadian market. This marks the first time in Canada live coverage of a game or sporting event will be available to viewers on TV and online simultaneously.”
