Bank of Montreal promotes Performance Plan

BMO Bank of Montreal has begun a series of events in support of its current “Performance Plan” advertising campaign. Between Oct. 25 and Nov. 7, direct to consumer events will take place in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver. Commuters in each city will be able to swipe an oversized replica of a debit card through oversized replicas of the hamburger, gas pump and coffee cup that appear in the ad campaign. Prizes in this instant-win promotion include Air Miles loyalty points, gas coupons and coffee cards. In Toronto, former Maple Leaf Wendel Clark will sign autographs. The debit cards also invite recipients to visit <http://www.bmoperformance.com> to enter a draw for 30,000 Air Miles points, free gas for two months and free banking services for life. The campaign promotes the BMO Performance Plan, which offers customers unlimited monthly transactions for a flat fee. The events and public relations are being managed by Apex Public Relations. The advertising campaign was developed by Cossette Communication Group.
