Apex Public Relations adds two

Apex Public Relations of Toronto has hired Melissa Cable-Cibula as an account director in its corporate practice. She will work on accounts including George Brown College, Coca-Cola, Women in Capital Markets and BMO Bank of Montreal. She was previously a senior account manager at Edelman Public Relations. She has also been a senior special assistant at Office of the Minister of Industry and a legislative assistant. Julie Smithers has joined Apex as an account manager in the technology practice. She will work on accounts including Samsung Electronics Canada. She was previously associate director of media relations at Bell Canada. Prior to that, she was media relations manager at Telus.
