Marketing Hall of Legends adds six inductees

The Toronto-based Marketing Hall of Legends will six new inductees for 2011. The organization recognizes leadership and dedication within the marketing industry. New additions Visionaries category include Frank Buckley of Buckley's and Les Mandelbaum and Paul Rowan of Umbra. David Bloom of Shoppers Drug Mart will be added in the Builders category. New inductees in the Enablers category include Nancy Vonk and Janet Kestin of Ogilvy & Mather. James Barnes, Professor Emeritus at Memorial University and principal at BMAI Strategy, will be added to the Mentors category. "We have a great group being inducted into the 2011 MHOL," said Alan Middleton, judging chair of the hall. "The individuals and brands were selected because they all delivered unique and better ways to do things. Innovation and the courage to tell people is the heart of successful marketing. Let's not forget it." The Marketing Hall of Legends of Canada is managed by the Toronto Chapter of the American Marketing Association and Mandrake.
