BMO Bank of Montreal has signed-on as a sponsor of the Montreal Juniors Hockey Club. As part of the agreement, the bank will offer 11 scholarships as part of the team's Stay in School/Excel in School program. The bank will also support the team's school outreach program to high schools. The program features talks by Juniors players to students promoting educational perseverance and graduation. "The Montreal Juniors thrilled its fans last year, its first season in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, and we're convinced they will do so again this year," said François Hudon, senior vice-president of the Quebec division of BMO. "This is a golden opportunity to associate the BMO brand with a sport that Quebecers enjoy and with a strong-performing team that's involved in the community."
