Columbia Pictures, Nivea ready Teletoon promotions

Specialty channel Teletoon will conduct two joint promotions in September with Columbia Pictures and Nivea. The Columbia Pictures campaign, which is aimed at children, is in support of the Sept. 29 release of the animated film “Open Season.” Viewers can visit the Teletoon.com website to enter a draw for one of five prize packages containing merchandise related to the movie. Nivea is promoting its Nivea For Men line of facial care products with a contest conducted on the channel’s LeDetour.ca website. The initiative is aimed at men aged 25 to 54. Viewers can also enter the draw by submitting a text message. Winners will receive one of ten prize packages consisting of products from the line and a Detour messenger bag.
