Beiersdorf begins Share The Care campaign

Montreal-based skin care company Beiersdorf Canada has begun a campaign called “Share The Care” in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The campaign consists of monetary donations to Food Banks Canada, Save the Children and the Canadian Red Cross, as well as the distribution of 78,000 units of hand sanitizer to Canadian health care facilities and 150,000 units of Nivea and Eucerin products to medical personnel. The campaign was developed in association with public relations agency 1Milk2Sugars Communications. It also includes social media activities.

“We recognize that combatting COVID-19 requires more effort, more togetherness and more collaboration than ever,” said Guillaume de Vitton, general manager of Beiersdorf Canada. “On top of our local efforts and donations for immediate relief, we are convinced that even the smallest acts of care do truly matter. With ‘Share The Care,’ we are calling on Canadians to share their willingness to help others and inspire more and more people to do the same.”

The campaign is part of an international effort by the brand’s parent company in Hamburg, Germany that includes donations of approximately 50 million Euros and one million liters of disinfectant.
