Power Medias retains Eloda for ad verification

Montreal-based Eloda has signed a three-year contract with digital indoor advertising firm Power Medias, also based in Montreal, to verify ad occurrences on its inventory of digital screens. The displays are installed in the restrooms of bars, restaurants, movie theatres, office buildings, shopping malls and fitness centres. Eloda’s reports are intended to allow advertisers to visual proof of the broadcast of their ads. According to Eloda, Power Medias is one of the first new media advertising companies to hire a third party to validate ad occurrences. “The reliability of Eloda's system will allow us to avoid costly billing errors and our clients will be able to use our services in complete confidence, knowing that they will receive the visibility they paid for,” said Power Medias spokesperson Michel Gendron. Power Medias’ inventory is currently located entirely in Quebec, but the company plans to expand into Ontario by the end of the year.
