Corus signs sponsorships with Kimberly-Clark, Sunwing

Corus Entertainment of Toronto has signed sponsorship agreements with Kimberly-Clark and Sunwing Vacations in support of its range of children's and family properties, including ABC Spark, Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, Teletoon, Treehouse and YTV. New campaigns involving these brands will begin this fall. These will involve television advertising and a presence in the company's mobile applications.

Kimberly-Clark will promote its Pull-Ups Training Pants through a television and digital campaign on Treehouse, Teletoon, YTV and Disney Channel. It will incorporate television commercials, branded on-air billboards and content on Treehousetv.com and WDish.com. The Sunwing Vacations sponsorship will include television advertising, billboards, closed captioning and lower thirds displays on ABC Spark, Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, Teletoon and YTV.

"We're excited about the opportunity to partner with Kimberly-Clark and Sunwing Vacations to develop creative, customized campaigns across our networks and digital platforms," said Marilyn Orecchio, vice-president of TV sales and client strategy at Corus. "Corus has become the destination for family viewing and reaches more than 90% of moms, making this a great fit for these premium brands. In a time-starved world, watching television together has increasingly become an important family activity and our advertisers recognize this."
