Videotron readies campaign for wireless service

Telecommunications company Videotron, a division of Quebecor Media, will break a television advertising campaign this month to promote its new wireless telephone service. The service will first be available in the Quebec City area, rolling-out to the rest of the company’s service area by the end of the year. The campaign will promote the wireless service by itself and as part of a bundle with other Videotron services, including Internet access, residential phone service and digital television. The creative, produced in French and English, depicts a Videotron technician imagining himself dancing in an ad for the new bundle. The campaign, created by Bos, will begin in mid-August.
