Addendum: Rogers, Shaw merger

Rogers Communications, Shaw Communications, the Shaw Family Living Trust and Quebecor have again extended the outside date of the proposed merger of Rogers and Shaw from Feb. 17 to March 31. The acquisition of Freedom Mobile by Quebecor-subsidiary Videotron would also take place on that day. According to the companies, approval from Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada for the transfer of spectrum licenses from Shaw to Videotron remains ongoing.
