Redwood Custom Communications hires seven

Toronto-based publishing company Redwood Custom Communications has added seven new staff members. Brynn Ray has joined the company as an account director. She has previously worked at JWT, Young & Rubicam and Doner. Karen Lee has also been hired as an account director. She was most recently an account director at Proximity Canada. Alexandra Baird has been appointed interactive account director. She was most recently at Blast Radius. Prior to that, she was the international marketing manager for Lavalife. Michael Grier has been appointed advertising sales director. He has previously worked at The Globe and Mail, CanWest Media and Cossette Communications. Patricia Tennison has been appointed editor. She was previously at the Chicago Tribune, where her positions included special sections editor, movie editor, restaurant editor and reviewer and assistant editor of the Sunday Arts section. Todd Toborg has rejoined the company as art director. He previously worked at Redwood’s Chicago office as the art director of Illinois Now, a publication produced for State of Illinois Tourism. Philip Thompson has been hired as technical project manager. He was most recently content management and pre-press manager at Webcom.
