GCI Group Canada hires Wareham

Toronto-based public relations agency GCI Group Canada has appointed Elynn Wareham to the position of group manager of the technology practice. She will oversee the Dell, SAS and Capgemini accounts, as well as other technology accounts and some corporate accounts. Wareham was previously at Maverick Public Relations, where she participated in the management of the Symantec, TD Bank Financial Group, Borland and Habitat for Humanity Canada accounts. Prior to that, she wrote for various technology trade publications including Computing Canada, Computer Dealer News, Government in Technology and InfoSystems Executive.
