SHARP'S VIEWCAM HITS THE STREETS
By Adnews Staff
Sharp Electronics of Canada expanded its relationship this summer with the youth group Generation 2000. The group uses Sharp's Viewcam video cameras when it goes to schools to record its plays and workshops. During the summer holidays this year, the group travelled to festivals, community fairs, special events and concerts to ask people what they thought about Canada's youth. The move was made so consumers could get a first-hand look at the video camera, which features a full-color, four-inch screen that replaces a viewfinder. People can watch their interview right after it's done because the Viewcam acts as a TV and VCR. Generation 2000 travels to schools to provide workshops to promote self-esteem and positive action among young people in community.
