RETAILER SELLING ICE CREAM PIZZA

Baskin-Robbins Canada of Toronto introduced Polar Pizza to the Canadian market this week. The product is a new ice cream treat that can be sold whole or in individual pieces. The three standard flavors are Bobsled Brownie, Alpine Praline and Huskie Heath. Bobsled has a brownie crust topped with chocolate ice cream, brownie chunks, walnuts, fudge drizzle and marshmallow. Alpine has a chocolate chip cookie crust, topped with Pralines 'n Cream ice cream, pecans, caramel and fudge drizzle. Huskie has a brownie crust, topped with Jamoca Almond Fudge ice cream, Heath chocolate bar chunks, almonds and fudge drizzle. Customers can choose other combinations listed in the stores as well. Polar Pizza is being promoted with in-store signs created by the Glendale, California office of D'Arcy, Masius, Benton & Bowles of New York. The product has been in the U.S. stores for a couple of months. Baskin-Robbins in Canada has 200 outlets across the country.
