Sharp Electronics retains Thornley Fallis Communications

Sharp Electronics of Canada, based in Mississauga, ON, has appointed Toronto-based public relations firm Thornley Fallis Communications as the Canadian agency of record for its consumer products division. Thornley Fallis won the account in a competitive review involving an unknown number of firms. The assignment includes the Aquos LCD television line, as well as other consumer products including Plasmacluster air purifiers, calculators and electronic dictionaries. “We saw some very strong creative thinking from the firms competing for our business,” said Carmine Cinerari, vice-president of the division at Sharp. “Thornley Fallis stood out because of their truly innovative approach and valuable insights into the factors that drive our market.”
