Tangerine begins Bank Shot promotion

Tangerine Bank has begun a campaign called “Bank Shot” as part of its sponsorship of the Toronto Raptors and NBA Canada. During the basketball season, each time a Raptors player makes a shot by banking the ball off the backboard, Tangerine will give away prizes to consumers. These prizes will include Raptors merchandise, signed jerseys and tickets to the NBA Finals. The promotion also includes 30- and 15-second online videos, digital out-of-home advertising, in-arena ads and social media activities. “Tangerine is focused on making things like banking less complicated,” said Randy Stein, creative director at Rethink. “While the first year of ‘Bank Shot’ was a success, we needed to simplify, be more connected, with a clear so what for fans.”
