Mary Brown's Chicken begins social media promotion

Toronto-based fast food chain Mary Brown’s Chicken has signed a promotional agreement with social media personalities Kristen Victoria and Reafe Anderson. During the one-year agreement, the couple with promote a variety of the chain’s menu items on social media service TikTok and other sites. The promotion is intended to attract younger consumers to the brand. The agreement was negotiated by influencer marketing agency EQ.

“At Mary Brown’s Chicken, we know that it only takes one bite to become a fan of our food for life,” said Val Sharivker, senior manager for social media at the chain’s parent company, MBI Brands. “We enjoy working with home-grown Canadian creators who shine in their respective categories with a strong connection and level of trust with their online communities, so we are thrilled to partner with Kristen and Reafe, turning their ‘Couple Goals’ into ‘Chicken Goals.’”
