Aeroplan expands Uber agreement

Aeroplan, the loyalty program of Air Canada, has expanded agreement with ride-sharing company Uber Canada for a multi-year term. Under the new agreement, Aeroplan members will receive loyalty points for using Uber and Uber Easts services when they link their accounts. Users will receive one point for each dollar spent on eligible Uber Eats orders, one point per dollar spent on Uber Airport Rides and Premium Rides, and two points per dollar spent on an Uber Premium Airport Ride in Canada or the US. In addition, members will receive a $20 Air Canada flight credit for taking 10 Uber rides in Canada or the US.

“We are thrilled to team up with Uber Canada to build a more rewarding program for our members,” said Scott O'Leary, vice-president of Aeroplan at Air Canada. “Whether you’re enjoying a night in or going out on the town, Uber and Aeroplan will bring you one step closer to your next reward.”
