Amnesty International conducts writeathon campaign

Amnesty International is conducting an out-of-home advertising campaign timed to coincide with International Human Rights Day on Dec. 10. The campaign encourages consumers to send a letter or email to a government official on behalf of persons who have been imprisoned for expressing an opinion. The program is intended to help stop the use of torture, death sentences and other human rights abuses. The campaign was developed by Cossette of Montreal.
